Please note that we do our very best to accommodate in a reasonable manner all warranty issues, and make every attempt to be as fair as possible to our valued customers.

Freight Damage 

Unless otherwise specified Keystone Sewing Machine Company will ship according to our best judgment.  All orders shipped F.O.B.   

 You (the consignee) must file claims for goods damaged or lost in transit with the transportation company immediately.  Keystone Sewing Machine Company cannot be responsible for any damage in transit, but will be glad to assist in any reasonable way.  Hidden damage must be reported to the carrier immediately when discovered, and you must file a claim with the carrier.  

Warranty

Unless otherwise stated Keystone Sewing Machine Company equipment is warranted against defects in material or workmanship for a period of six months from date of invoice.  We do not charge for labor or parts deemed to be defective by Keystone Sewing Machine Company staff during the warranty period.  A warrantee period of  one (1) year applies to clutch and electronic servo motors defective for the same causes.

Keystone Sewing Machine Company's warranty covers only manufacture defects in parts.  Wear items like needles, bobbins, bobbin case, hook, and check spring are not covered unless damaged in shipping. 

Costs for shipping, transportation, or loss of production are not covered under warranty, and are the sole responsibility of the customer. 

Warranty is only good at Keystone Sewing Machine Company.  The warranty is non transferable, and can only be performed by Keystone Sewing Machine Company employees or others who have been authorized by Keystone Company to make repairs.

Unauthorized repairs will void warranty.   

Return of Merchandise  


Before returning merchandise you must request a Return Authorization Number.  Requests must be made within 30 days of invoice, and complete goods retuned fright prepaid, and in saleable condition.  Machines and motors must be retuned in their original packaging and carton.  The issuance of a RA# does not constitute admittance of liability.  All returns will be inspected before any credit will be issued.  Credit will be issued, less 15% for handling, inspection, and repackaging.  If repairs must be made, the cost of the repair will be deducted from the credit.  

Non-Stock, Custom or Special Orders

These orders are not subject to cancellation or return as they are specially manufactured.  A deposit of 50% is required within such purchase orders.

Sales Tax

Sales tax at the rate of 7% is applied to all orders being shipped to a Pennsylvania address. Orders shipped to addresses outside the state of Pennsylvania are not charged sales tax.
